linguistic cryptanalysis

Currently, military and government intelligence analysts have little knowledge of computational linguistics and related fields that are of great importance in dealing with certain kinds of cryptography such as linguistic steganography.

Linguistic steganography systems hide secret data in innocuous natural language text. (See our bibliography for details). Although at present very much a research topic, prototypes for this kind of system have been built, and may soon evolve into a true threat.

As a pioneering contributor to this field of scientific research, we can offer lectures, workshops, or seminars to help educate intelligence analysts on the issues involved.
